Privacy policy

Last updated 28 September 2026

Council is a set of static files that runs in your web browser. This site has no server of its own, no database, no analytics and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. This page explains what does happen to your data when you use it.

What stays in your browser

To remember your choices between visits, the page saves these items in your browser's local storage on your own device:

Nothing in this list is sent anywhere by this site. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Signing out does not delete it.

Files you attach are read inside your browser. Their text is included in your question and sent as described below; the files themselves are not uploaded anywhere by this site.

What leaves your browser

When you ask a question, the question, the system prompt and the text of any attached files are sent to Puter, which forwards them to the AI providers behind the models you selected (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Alibaba, Zhipu, Moonshot, MiniMax, Mistral, xAI or ByteDance). Those companies process your text to produce answers, under their own policies. Do not include anything you would not want those providers to see.

Signing in, your Puter account, usage metering and billing are handled entirely by Puter. See Puter's privacy policy. This site never receives your Puter password.

Other services the page loads

Like any website, these services can see your IP address and browser details when your browser downloads from them.
